TAS Spectacle Subsidy Scheme

Provides subsidised prescription spectacles for eligible low-income Tasmanians and their dependent children who hold a qualifying concession card.

What you get

A subsidy towards the cost of one pair of prescription spectacles per eligible adult every two years, and one pair per year for eligible children under 16. Participating optometrists supply spectacles at low or no cost.
