NSW Spectacle Subsidy Scheme
Subsidises the cost of prescription spectacles for eligible low-income NSW residents and children who hold a qualifying concession card.

What you get
A subsidy towards one pair of prescription spectacles every three years for eligible adults, and one pair per year for eligible children under 16. Participating optometrists provide spectacles at no or low cost.

How to apply
1. Visit a participating NSW optometrist. 2. Present your qualifying concession card (Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, or DVA card). 3. The optometrist processes the subsidy claim directly.
