Export Market Development Grants (EMDG)

Reimburses eligible Australian businesses for promotional expenses incurred in developing export markets for goods, services, software, intellectual property, and tourism.

What you get

Tiered grants reimbursing 50% of eligible promotional expenses. Tier 1 (new exporters): up to $40,000/year. Tier 2 (established exporters): up to $80,000/year. Eligible expenses include overseas visits, marketing materials, trade show fees.

How to apply

1. Register with Austrade's EMDG portal. 2. Keep records of all eligible export promotion expenses during the grant year. 3. Apply through the online portal after 30 June. 4. Austrade assesses and pays grant within 90 days.
